and the Training Centre in Communication collaborated to host a blended workshop that brought together 50 Librarians from 40 Universities in Ethiopia.The one-on-one session during the workshop were pivotal as they provided personalized guidance to each librarian.This individualized approach ensured that the librarians not only understood how to access and use open access solutions but also tailored their knowledge to the specific needs of their academic communities.These sessions empowered the librarians to become effective leaders in improving research practices and scholarly communication within their universities.Wilson de Souza from Knowledge Unlatched introduced the Open Research Library, as a user-friendly platform that enhances the discovery of worldwide open-access publications covering different disciplines.From TCC Africa, Nicholas Outa led a demonstration on how to access and utilize the citation database, Dimensions, in exploring research grants, publications, citations, clinical trials, patents, and policy documents in one place.He also introduced the community to Scholarcy, an AI online summarization tool that can quickly identify the key points and arguments of research papers as well as more easily critically analyze papers to TCC Africa Using Open Access AI to improve the Academic Lifecycle for the Ethiopia Academic Community.3 understand how the research builds on or differs from prior studies and effectively interpret large collections of articles.
