Abstract
published in the Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare 2024. 1 I would like to congratulate the authors on this successful article, and make contributions. This research provides valuable insight into medical students' knowledge and attitudes towards the use of AI in learning. However, this research has some limitation other than those stated by researchers in this journal.1) The sample in this study were obtained from medical college students in the Eastern Governorate of Saudi Arabia, so it did not represent the views of medical students from universities in other regions of Saudi Arabia. This could affect the generalizability of the findings. 2,3To address this limitation, further research needs to expand the research area and not only cover one area, so that the research results can be generalized.2) The data collected in this study were based on self-reported measures, which may introduce reporting bias.Participants may provide answers that do not accurately reflect their true understanding or attitudes toward AI. 4 To address this limitation, future research can include objective evaluations of participants' understanding of AI and attitudes toward AI, rather than relying solely on self-reported measures.3) The convenience sampling technique used in this study may limit the generalizability of the results to a broader population of medical students. 5To address this limitation, future research needs to consider the use of other sampling techniques, so as not to limit the generalization of research results.
