Abstract
ChatGPT and similar large language models (LLMs) are becoming the essential tools in healthcare, offering diverse applications. This article presents a bibliometric analysis for studying the dimension and the role of ChatGPT and major large language models in healthcare. The LLMs’ impact, usage, and growth in medical literature is presented. Through exploring the Scopus database, this article uncovers the trends and contributions of LLMs. Our findings deliver insights into the evolution of the LLMs’ applications highlighting their significance and limitations in shaping future healthcare.
