The Transformative Role of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Abstract
The chapter demonstrates that recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) offer promising improvements in healthcare outcomes for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It examines AI's potential to enhance patient-centered care through a thorough literature review and qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and caregivers. The findings suggest that AI can significantly enhance early diagnosis and personalized treatment plans for ASD patients. However, challenges such as data quality, algorithmic bias, and integration with existing healthcare systems need to be addressed.
