Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is an area that has one of the most significant impacts on all aspects of human development. In medicine, it is no different, and AI has extraordinary capabilities that can significantly impact physician performance. Initially, the field was dominated by computer and engineering professionals, but more individuals from other fields are venturing in, including doctors. In the following sections, we will discuss the main technologies used in AI and the different data inputs, such as text, audio, image, and video, highlighting the ones applied to medicine and radiology.
