This review explores the transformative potential of ChatGPT, a language model developed by OpenAI, in healthcare practices.The potential of ChatGPT in generating time-scheduled, personalized inpatient and follow-up care plans is likely derived from its ability to integrate real-time adaptability, advanced learning methods, and machine learning-based predictive models.The review highlights ChatGPT's capabilities in supporting clinical workflows, automating routine tasks, and offering evidence-based recommendations, saving time of documentation to healthcare providers.Additionally, in combination with clinical expert reviewing, it can be utilized in telehealth clinics, training and guiding the novice healthcare professionals and students in the medical field.Challenges, including data privacy, ethical concerns, and the need for continued human oversight, are assessed.The review also discusses the future implications of AI in medicine, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between medical professionals and technologists to harness the full potential of AI.
