Artificial Intelligence: A Paradigm Shift in Literature

Abstract

This paper examines the paradigm shift in literature through Artificial Intelligence.This research investigates the threatened potential that AI can bring to the future of literature.Furthermore, it has demonstrated how the emergence of AI-driven literary works affects the traditional literary market and the perception of humanauthored literature and what role emotional engagement plays in the survival and evolution of literature in the age of AI.The qualitative research method is adopted for this research.The study is a secondary source data-based content analysis.Despite being a human invention AI has already offered its potential to outstrip numerous human-driven roles; which includes literary works.Even though AI is involved in creating literature, the research has purported to shed light on how literature is losing its human essence.
