Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of health-care constitutes a complex landscape between promising transformative opportunities and significant hurdles, this chapter focuses on hope and fear at individual: patient and healthcare worker, organizational and community levels. It offers a balanced summary of what AI could do well and the hurdles that must be addressed by appropriate ethical and regulatory resources. In summary, this chapter emphasizes the delicate equilibrium between the optimism and concerns surrounding AI in healthcare. AI has the power to totally shake up healthcare, making things faster and better for patients. However, it also presents notable risks that demand diligent mitigation by establishment of strong ethical guidelines, ongoing engagement with stakeholders, transparent communication, and policies that ensure fair access to AI-driven healthcare advancements
