Realization of other human rights like the right to life, dignity, and an adequate standard of living is contingent on access to quality medical care. The inclusion of artificial intelligence (AI) into the world of health has become an anterior solution to improve patient outcomes and optimize medical services in recent years. The breadth of applications spans from disease diagnosis, treatment planning and personalized medicine to drug discovery. Accessible use of AI powered technology can help health care systems in creating new opportunities for acceleration, accuracy and customization of the services rendered by them which will result to a healthier purpose for each individual on their community. This chapter is an exploration and intersection of healthcare with human rights, specifically in the field of AI use cases within health.
