Abstract
This chapter, “Human Rights and AI,” aims to explore the historical context of human rights, responsibilities and rights of humans in the healthcare sector post-AI implementation. It also focuses on two key areas: behavioral practices and how a particular AI based tool can be used to facilitate behavioral modification in relation to IPC in the industry. Inclusive of this chapter, the major goal has been to present a synthesis of the past, present, and future of human rights in healthcare through the use of Artificial Intelligence, by presenting information on historical aspects, ethical propositions, and present and future implications. This is as a result of shaping a future of Care through technological means, ensuring incredible and humane quality of, at least, elementary rights like dignity within the health-care domain for patients.
