Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is leading the charge for a revolution in healthcare, with the potential to change how people see, use, and perceive medical services. As the digital era develops, AI becomes a vital healthcare tool. Its uses include digital hospitals, mobile health (mHealth) applications, predictive analytics, personalized medicine, telemedicine, and remote patient monitoring. AI forecasts disease outbreaks by evaluating past data, which allows health authorities to respond quickly and deploy resources effectively. This is especially important regarding pandemics and emergencies involving public health. This chapter also examines how AI may be used to forecast illness outbreaks and allocate resources, opening the door to a healthcare system that is more effective and adaptable. With an emphasis on the social and legal ramifications for healthcare delivery, this chapter explores the potential of AI in the context of digital hospitals and mHealth applications.
