Abstract
Abstract Artificial intelligence has recently been incorporated into medicine to improve patient care, speeding up processes and allowing for greater precision. However, there is a global concern regarding the ethical and legal consequences and commitments involved in using this tool. In this context, this integrative review aimed to map evidence about the ethical and legal implications of using artificial intelligence in medicine based on studies on the subject. The use of this technology in the health area resulted in a disruptive scenario, and, therefore, it urgently needs to be regulated in all subareas ethically and responsibly. More studies are required from stakeholders to continue addressing the issue of data privacy and protection through global agreements and transdisciplinary pacts.
