The cat is out of the bag, the ship has sailed, the toothpaste is out of the tube, the die is cast, you can't un-ring the bell, or whichever similar metaphor you prefer. Artificial intelligence (AI), while still in its nascent stages, has already been implemented in some capacity by 79 % of healthcare organizations.1 All signs indicate that AI will continue to reshape the field for the foreseeable future, with the global market for AI in healthcare expected to grow 38.5 % from 2024 to 20,30.2
