Abstract This review article looks into the critical function of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving hospital management information systems (HMIS). As healthcare systems become more complex, using AI technology provides an opportunity to simplify operations, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize resource management. The study delves into several AI applications in HMIS, including predictive analytics for patient care, natural language processing for efficient documentation, and machine learning algorithms to aid clinical decision-making. The review also addresses the challenges of implementing AI in healthcare settings, such as data privacy concerns, the need for interoperability among diverse systems, and the importance of training healthcare professionals to effectively use these technologies.
