Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping healthcare by improving diagnostics, personalizing treatment, optimizing hospital operations, and enhancing patient care outcomes across diverse medical specialties. This detailed review evaluates AI's current and potential future applications, discussing specific examples from radiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, in vitro fertilization (IVF), surgery, and hospital management. We also address significant challenges including ethical considerations, data security, algorithmic bias, and clinician adaptability. Recommendations for healthcare systems and clinicians on infrastructure development, ethical AI frameworks, and continuous education are provided, emphasizing strategies to effectively integrate AI technologies.
