Abstract
In order to deeply explore the current research hotspots and development trends of ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence in empowering higher education applications, this study conducted a detailed analysis of 178 articles related to ChatGPT+higher education in the knowledge Resource Database. By using software tools such as Power BI, SPSS, and Excel, this study conducted a visual analysis of core authors, research funding, research topics, author institutions, discipline areas, and related indicators in the literature. The aim of the study is to analyze the current status of ChatGPT research in higher education applications and to explore the hot issues surrounding ChatGPT empowerment in higher education.
