The integration of haptic systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized medical innovation, enhancing precision, efficiency, and patient experience. Haptic systems provide tactile feedback, playing a crucial role in surgical robotics, medical training, and rehabilitation. When combined with AI, they improve diagnostics, therapy, and surgical performance, ensuring personalized care. AI-driven haptic feedback enhances VR-based simulations, making medical training immersive. Additionally, adaptive feedback mechanisms and predictive analytics optimize remote patient monitoring. However, challenges persist, including data security, ethical concerns, and system reliability. This chapter explores the synergy of AI and haptics, discussing research designs, real-world applications, and future implications in healthcare.
