Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing medical robotics, enabling advanced diagnostic imaging, precision surgery, rehabilitation, and intelligent prosthetics. From remote operations to individualized rehabilitation and prosthetic support, AI-powered robots use technologies like computer vision, medical image analysis, haptics, and machine learning to carry out difficult activities on their own. These innovations promise safer, more efficient, and widely accessible patient care by integrating breakthroughs in robotics, medicine, materials science, and computing. However, the rapid adoption of AI in medical robotics raises significant ethical challenges. Key concerns include safeguarding patient privacy and data security, as well as addressing algorithmic bias and ensuring accountability in clinical decision-making.
