Abstract
The applications of artificial intelligence have explored different fields, including agriculture, education, autonomous systems, healthcare, finance, entertainment, transportation, military, manufacturing, and more. This paper aims to explore the applications of AI in research, examining its benefits and challenges that lie ahead. The article also highlights different AI tools used by researchers or publishers. As a methodology, secondary sources of data have been used in this research. The study delves AI tools offer numerous benefits, including faster literature review, reduced Grammarly errors, hypothesis generation, simulation and modelling, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and increased productivity. However, their limitations, including lack of transparency, data quality, algorithm bias and errors, and dependence on human judgment, must be acknowledged and addressed.
