AI-Driven Personal Health Assistants: Transforming Reactive Care into Preventive Healthcare Solutions

Abstract
Healthcare is changing rapidly with AI, offering customized, effective, and preventive care solutions. This project aims to create an AI-powered Personal Health Assistant (PHA) that incorporates machine learning, natural language processing, and real-time analytics to track health, identify diseases early in treatment, and help manage healthcare. With wearable devices and electronic health records (EHR), AI-PHA monitors vital signs, forecasts the risk of illness, and sends alerts on time. It supports medication management with reminders and dosing alarms, reducing missed or inappropriate doses. It also allows appointment scheduling, telemedicine, and personalized fitness and nutrition advice. Unlike conventional treatment-oriented healthcare, AI-PHA focuses on prevention by determining risk factors and prescribing lifestyle changes to avoid chronic diseases. Through real-time data analytics, it makes healthcare more accessible, improves patient care, and decreases medical expenses. Current research underscores the revolutionary potential of AI in contemporary healthcare, connecting patients and professionals through evidence-based decision-making.
