Towards an Overview of Artificial intelligence in Healthcare

Abstract

As the entire sectors, the artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the healthcare sector which present the most important sector in every country. the implementation of AI in the healthcare transform different areas including disease analyses, prediction and diagnosis, treatment monitoring and recommendations and healthcare administration. Through the development of the AI technologies and the Machine learning, the healthcare research know progress in various aspects such as vaccine development, reduction of the time spent in diagnosis, prediction of disease progression, disease detection and treatment of genetic data…. With all the applications and the benefits of AI in healthcare many barriers and challenges confront the AI implementation classed into Technological, Ethical and Organizational and Economic parts. To confront the barriers and create more progress, the advancements of AI technologies require different collaborations inside these technologies, between the technologies and healthcare professionals and finally between the healthcare organizations, the governments and the regulators.
