Abstract
Ambient Voice Technologies (AVTs) offer the ability to capture clinician-patient dialogues in real time and to output a range of summary documentation from spoken interactions. Using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large language models (LLMs), AVTs allow automatic conversion of spoken conversations as inputs, into text and other outputs whilst requiring minimal user intervention. Wide variations exist in current clinical workflows between subspecialties in Haemato-Oncology but these carry a significant administrative burden.
