Abstract

The article highlights the potential of using modern artificial intelligence tools in the educational process of training future officers. It analyzes the functionality and capabilities of three leading systems – ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot – in the context of their use to enhance learning efficiency, develop key professional competencies, and support an individualized approach. Specific directions for integrating ChatGPT into military education are presented, including the creation of educational materials, development of critical thinking, assistance in programming, improvement of language skills, and organization of independent work. The possibilities of Google Gemini as a multimodal model are described, particularly for preparing texts, fostering critical thinking, improving language training, and creating individualized learning plans through integration with the Google ecosystem. Microsoft Copilot is characterized as a tool for creating educational content, supporting language and analytical practice, critically processing information, and effectively planning the learning process using Microsoft Office services. The research results demonstrate that integrating artificial intelligence tools – specifically ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot – into the training system for future officers opens broad opportunities for improving learning effectiveness and developing key professional competencies. The use of these technologies makes it possible not only to optimize the process of creating educational materials and improve knowledge acquisition but also to foster critical thinking, enhance language skills, improve the organization of independent work, and ensure an individualized approach to education. Each of the three tools has its own unique features and advantages: ChatGPT is distinguished by its flexibility in generating text content, Google Gemini by its multimodality and integration with the Google ecosystem, and Microsoft Copilot by its deep integration with Microsoft Office services and its ability to boost productivity in cadets’ daily work.
