Abstract
It is estimated that around 2 million people die globally from liver disease each year, representing 4% of all deaths worldwide. These deaths are largely attributable to complications of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, both of which can lead to liver failure. Can artificial intelligence (AI) help to prevent these deaths?
