Abstract
The recent proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has fundamentally transformed numerous sectors, particularly healthcare, by enhancing decision-making, personalizing patient interactions, and optimizing operational efficiencies. This research explores the dual aspects of AI in healthcare management: its operational benefits and the ethical considerations surrounding its deployment. Despite advancements in AI-driven solutions such as predictive analytics, virtual health assistants, and automated customer service, notable challenges persist, particularly regarding ethical implications like data privacy and bias. A gap in research addressing these ethical concerns signifies the necessity for a robust framework to govern AI’s integration in healthcare practices. This study also emphasizes the critical role of trust in AI systems, especially in healthcare, where patient safety is paramount. As AI continues to evolve, it becomes essential to align its deployment with established ethical principles and regulatory guidelines to foster public confidence and support patient-centered care. Additionally, the research highlights ongoing initiatives and legislative frameworks in the United States aimed at promoting ethical AI usage. Ultimately, this study aims to provide insights into harnessing AI to create a more effective, empathetic, and responsive healthcare environment while addressing the pressing ethical issues that arise in this dynamic landscape.
