Artificial intelligence (AI) revolutionized the field of medicine as soon as it appeared. Along with healthcare systems, it has changed the ways diagnosis, treatment, and patient care are handled. This chapter discusses both the positive and negative aspects and the potential barriers of AI in healthcare. AI is changing how healthcare works by improving choices for doctors, optimizing therapies, and improving the well-being of patients. In this chapter, AI's use in healthcare is explained, especially in areas such as diagnosis, medicine designed for individuals, and remote care offered through telemedicine. AI, using advanced technology and machine learning, is making personalized and data-centered healthcare possible, which is changing medical care. Even as AI makes great progress, it raises questions about ethics, laws, and how people relate to it. It emphasizes the significant advancements, issues, and possible futures in AI for healthcare, showing that everyone deserves proper and equal care, which requires careful management and oversight.
