Abstract
The integration of AI-driven chatbots into educational environments has introduced transformative changes in learning processes, particularly for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners in higher education. This study investigates how consistent interaction with ChatGPT influences academic writing fluency among ESL students. It explores challenges learners face in academic writing and assesses how AI tools like ChatGPT provide real-time feedback, reduce cognitive load, and support language development. Adopting a mixed-methods approach, this research combines quantitative pre/post-tests with qualitative interviews and surveys. The results are expected to offer insights into writing improvements, student perceptions, and pedagogical implications for ESL education in AI-mediated classrooms.
