Abstract
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that uses natural language similar to humans to answer questions correctly. Chat GPT can help people understand human language better and produce more natural responses. In its implementation, Chat GPT is used in various applications, such as virtual assistants, chatbots, and customer service. ChatGPT is an OpenAI development that has been used by millions of people worldwide. Although it has been widely adopted, it is necessary to carry out a systematic evaluation and assessment of its success using ChatGPT. The DeLone and McLean information system (IS) success model (D&M model) and the technology acceptance model by Davis are used to assess the success of IS because this model is a model used to test the success of a system. To test the benefits of using the system, five variables adopted from the two theories are used. This study empirically examines the model to measure the success of the Artificial Intelligence tool, namely ChatGPT, the extent of the benefits obtained, and what factors influence it. Data were collected from 100 users consisting of lecturers and students who use ChatGPT in their activities. Two direct variables, namely perceived usefulness and user satisfaction, have a direct influence on perceived benefits. The findings of this study can be used to assess the success of ChatGPT from the perspective of its users.
