Abstract
Abstract: The healthcare industry is currently facing a "Pilot Purgatory" crisis, where approximately 90% of Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects fail to scale beyond the initial pilot phase. This perspective paper introduces the "Greenhouse Fallacy" as a primary framework for understanding this failure rate. It argues that models trained in sanitized, artificial environments (The Greenhouse) lack the resilience to survive in the complex, fragmented, and resource-constrained reality of hospital workflows (The Jungle). The paper proposes shifting from an algorithm-centric approach to an "Architecture of Proof," emphasizing Operational Infrastructure (Data Flow, UX, Governance) as the prerequisite for successful AI deployment.
