Abstract

This paper examines the application and impact of AI-assisted voice dictation technology for medical records. Leveraging artificial intelligence’s speech recognition and natural language processing capabilities, this technology rapidly converts verbally dictated clinical information into structured electronic records. It significantly enhances the efficiency and quality of medical documentation while effectively alleviating the workload of healthcare professionals. In clinical practice, physicians often struggle to balance documentation demands with demanding workloads. AI voice-assisted medical record writing liberates clinicians’ hands by enabling voice-input documentation, automatically generating structured records encompassing patient demographics, medical history, and test results. This facilitates subsequent treatment planning and summary documentation. This technology not only reduces potential errors and omissions from manual recording but also enhances the completeness of medical information and data security. Simultaneously, it improves treatment outcomes and patient experience through clinical decision support. Looking ahead, the application prospects for AI in healthcare are vast, poised to further advance the intelligent and efficient delivery of medical services.
