Abstract
Artificial intelligence has revolutionized academic and research fields. Writing and editing in the creative, professional, and academic spheres are now being transformed by the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Some AI tools like Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, are providing content generation, summarization, and paraphrasing with high fluency and coherence. This chapter provides in-depth information about the NLP and LLMs. This chapter examines the role and applications of various available AI tools in drafting, paraphrasing and summarizing technical content with appropriate examples. This chapter also discusses various AI tools for editing which ensure domain-specific terminology, accuracy, style consistency, adherence to documentation standards, plagiarism free text and tools to enhance the human like writing style with tone adjustment of the document. This chapter also provides a deep understanding of the prompt engineering.
