Abstract
This scoping review aims to map and synthesize the existing evidence on the performance and applicability of ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the context of hypertension. The review will examine how generative AI has been used across hypertension-related domains, including screening, diagnosis, risk stratification, patient education, clinical decision support, and health system applications. Additionally, it will explore reported accuracy, reliability, benefits, limitations, ethical considerations, and implementation challenges. By systematically identifying knowledge gaps and emerging trends, this scoping review seeks to inform clinicians, researchers, and policymakers about the current and potential roles of generative AI in hypertension care and research.
