Abstract
The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving at a high speed, which has already introduced new changes in the sphere of healthcare, especially in terms of its detection, prevention, and treatment of serious diseases. The application of AI in the medical profession is examined in this paper with a particular focus on the creation of intelligent systems that can be used in diagnosing and real-time edge decision-making. The usefulness of the edge intelligence is that it offers low-latency processing, which in turn makes it easy to respond to the critical scenarios promptly and accurately. This functionality can be utilized to its utmost in the healthcare environment, where timely decision-making is the key driver of patient outcomes. Furthermore, the paper highlights the role of data security in health care and outlines the way edge-based systems could be utilized to protect privacy and integrity of the information that is being sent. As AI and edge computing are synthesised, it is possible to create a healthcare revolution that will provide customised, efficient, and secure channels of diagnosing and managing serious conditions.
