Abstract
The main objective of this study is to determine the role of Artificial Intelligence in increasing the viewership of news programs on Kurdish television channels. This descriptive research uses a face-to-face survey of a sample of media professionals in the Kurdistan Region. The study relied on quantitative methodology to answer the questions and objectives of the study.The most important findings and results of this study are: (According to the results of the study showed that artificial intelligence can increase the speed of data collection for news programs and process According to the study From this it appears that the speed of information gathering and production are important factors for increasing viewership and retaining the audience's attention on news programs, artificial intelligence can provide a better visual experience to viewers, so that artificial intelligence will support and encourage more familiarity and create a good experience and efficiency of journalists in television channels, in a way Artificial intelligence can improve the quality of audio and visual effects in news programs, according to results of the study.
