Analyzing Undergraduate Students' Perceptions of Using ChatGPT in Daily Life

Abstract
In recent years, ChatGPT brings a new paradigm shift leading to new user experiences. ChatGPT has a wide range of application cases and there is no denying that it plays a critical role in universities. However, despite ChatGPT's usefulness, there are risks of its misuse and inadequate/unethical deployment. Therefore, it is essential to explore how students use ChatGPT to avoid these problems. Moreover, in previous works, limited concerns have been paid to students' usage behaviors in their daily lives. This paper aims to capture the understanding and familiarity and usage of ChatGPT in daily life of undergraduate students. The paper also provides suggestions for improving ChatGPT to support learning better.
