Abstract
This study analyses influence of information quality, perceived interactivity, and perceived satisfaction on use behaviour of ChatGPT among undergraduate students in Manila. The objective is to extend the Information Systems Success Model and Technology Acceptance Model to the generative AI context by examining causal pathways that shape adoption behaviour in higher education. A purposive sample of 350 undergraduate respondents from Metro Manila higher education institutions. Data were collected between August 2024 and March 2025 using a structured questionnaire and analysed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0. The measurement model demonstrated satisfactory reliability and validity, while the structural model results revealed that information quality significantly predicted both interactivity and satisfaction but did not directly influence use behaviour. Perceived satisfaction emerged as the strongest determinant of use behaviour. The findings highlight the central role of student satisfaction in sustaining ChatGPT adoption and provide practical implications for higher education institutions to develop policies, digital literacy initiatives, and faculty training that enhance interactive and responsible use of generative AI.
